Wherever you will be on Saturday, October 18 chances are there is a No Kings gathering near you.

There are many trainings & information sources to help you prepare.

Let us all gather together, strengthen the resistance, celebrate community, cheer on democracy, & dream of a better world!

Barb is a longtime progressive and DFL activist with a wide range of experience in grassroots organizing and activism. She will address the need for engagement with the political process and answer questions about how to approach our growing political quagmire. There will be lots of time for questions and discussion so bring your thinking caps and be ready for some lively conversation.

Due to a funeral for a veteran, on October 18th, we will gather 9 North River Street (by the Little Fork River near Cook Building Center and Lakes Gas)

The Billionaire Class will play and a march to Hwy. 53 and River Street will follow.

Stand up for democracy, free speech, and unity at a peaceful rally.

Bring a sign and bring a friend. Bring your own chair too. This event is hosted by Northern Progressives.

Trainings

Getting prepared for No Kings

A core principle behind all No Kings events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events.

The Sacred Tradition of Protest

No Kings II Faith Training

When:
Tuesday, October 14, 6:30–8:00pm ET
Where:
Online

As part of the national No Kings II campaign, Interfaith Alliance will host The Sacred Tradition of Protest: No Kings II Faith Training—a 90-minute training on how moral protest serves as a sacred expression of faith and conscience as well as a practical training of how to know your rights, protect yourself and practice non-violent resistance at No Kings II. At a time when democracy, human rights, and the freedom to dissent are under threat, the program will equip faith leaders and people of conscience for strategic, nonviolent action.
