URGENT action needed: Do this by Friday to stop the politicization of civil service

Trump is attempting to take total control of all public services with the ability to fire career civil servants who disagree with him and replace them with his selected loyalists. (He attempted to do this in his first term, but Biden reversed it.)

This change is an administrative rule which requires no congressional approval, but you, as a citizen, have a right to comment.

Comments are to be considered before the rule can be finalized.

If enough dust is raised in the process, it might have an effect.

Take a minute to make a comment opposing proposed Section F by THIS FRIDAY, May 23..

Save NSF is calling on you to submit a comment on the Federal Register. Comments are due this Friday, May 23.

It would help if you then tell a few more people about this issue and ask them to make a comment too.

"The Hidden Provision in the Big Ugly Bill that makes Trump King."

Alarming news this morning from Robert Reich about the bill passing through Congress. Hidden in it are things like the following:

"No court of the United States may use appropriated funds to enforce a contempt citation for failure to comply with an injunction or temporary restraining order if no security was given when the injunction or order was issued…."

"Worse than we thought: GOP will cut Medicare by $500 billion"

The nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office (CBO) estimated that the Republican budget bill under consideration would trigger about $500 billion in automatic cuts to Medicare, the program that provides health insurance to around 68 million older adults and people with disabilities.
